Science Action Information Session

Science Action challenges you to create a short, creative video that will get Canadians excited about science and engineering research. Submission deadline: TBA. First prize of $3500, second prize of $3000, third prize of $2750 and runner up prize of $2500. Explaining research in 60 seconds takes skill, talent and planning. SSHRC Storyteller Information Session

SSHRC’s Storytellers is a spoken word video challenge to show Canadians how social sciences and humanities research affects our lives. Three minutes or 300 words. Submission deadline: TA.  Top 25 finalists receive $3,000 cash prize, Congress registration & lodging, communications master class. Watch videos of the 2016 SSHRC Storyteller winners. The story should be creative, push boundaries, surprise them with something new, compelling and clear.
