Wednesday, June 7, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Working on your thesis or dissertation? Looking for the space and time to ‘talk’ writing and ‘do’ writing? Please join us! The program will include discussions on writing practice, strategies for overcoming writing challenges and opportunities to create a community of practice or writers’ community with fellow graduate students.
The day-long retreat will be located in downtown St. Catharines in the historic centre built by the Merritt family (builders of the first Welland Canal). Beautiful gardens and galleries will be the backdrop for a day of productive writing (scheduled 3-5 hours of writing time).
Snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Lunch is provided.
Space is limited.
Co-hosted by: Faculty of Graduate Studies, Centre for Pedagogical Innovation & Learning Services, A-Z Learning, Library Services and the Faculty of Education.
